The Zynga Game Network, the leading creator of games for social networks, is searching for a Producer/Designer to drive the design and development of the next generation of great social games.
Responsiblities
Reporting to the Executive Producer, Casual Games and working closely with the company’s creative and business leadership, the Producer will:
· Serve as a key leader in Zynga’s Toronto satellite studio, owning the creative, roadmapping, and production processes.
· Lead the studio’s internal development in brainstorming fun, creative concepts for game and feature that will drive strong virality, deep engagement, and high monetization on social networks
· Drive pre-production prototyping, concept art, and design documentation processes to define great approaches to gameplay and visual design
· Personally deliver high quality design artifacts including product specifications, user interface wireframes, milestone definitions, and game balance values.
· Work with internal and external art, engineering, web, and network teams to scope and schedule game production
· Manage coordination and communication within the studio’s development team and with key shared resources at Zynga’s San Francisco headquarters
· Work with development teams to polish and refine games in development and enhancements to released games
· Drive products to quick, efficient completion while making smart, strategic decisions that balance quality and scope against delivery time and cost
· Work closely with studio management to build out short and long term product roadmaps that deliver against key business objectives (reach, retention, and revenue)
Requirements
· A passion for building super-fun, category-leading casual games for social networks
· 5+ years of creative and/or development leadership, preferably in web-based or casual games
· Ability to work closely cross-functional teams
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Experience writing game design documents and project plans
· Strong proficiency with designing screen layouts, user interfaces, and user flows
· Entrepreneurial spirit and a strong sense of ownership
· Up to 15% travel, mostly to San Francisco
· Consumer internet product management experiences is highly desirable
· Startup experience preferred

· This is a full-time on-site position at Zynga’s satellite studio in Toronto’s Liberty Village district. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
